I first heard of Rosie in a rather odd way.  Back in the 1970's, Rosie did ads for Coronet paper towels by Georgia Pacific.  I remember her singing "Extra value is what you get, when you buy Coronet!"  I asked my mom who she was and mom sat me down and explained Rosie's story to me as she knew it.  She turned out to be pretty accurate, except for the relationship Rosie had wth Nelson Riddle.  Kind of hard to tell a 10 year old about that!  I then remember seeing her on TV every once in a while, including the episodes she did on "ER".  She was great in those!  When she died, I felt oddly like a lost a part of me, since my mom had been such a big fan of Rosie.  My mother had died in 1994, also of lung cancer.  I felt like another part of my mom's memory had been taken from me.

At the beginning of 2003, I started buying CDs of Rosie.  I have about 7 now, including the remastered RCA Victor CD of the album, she did with Nelson Riddle, Rosie Solves the Swingin' Riddle.  It's a great CD!  Obviously, you can tell by the way Riddle and Clooney work so well together that their love comes through in this album.

Thanks, Rosie, for being such a wonderful artist, and for helping me swing a little more when I hear your voice!

I first became interested in Rosie when I saw her wonderful act in white christmas. I've been her biggest fan ever since. Even though I'm berly a teenager I still love her and hope that more kids will learn to love her too.

I first saw Rosemary in the movie White Christmas. I saw it several years ago when I was around 8. This past year I watched it again, as I do every year around Christmas and was amazed at her voice and her charm on the screen. I started searching her songs and made a CD of the songs from the 50's of hers. Following that I bought the DVD of The Rosemary Clooney Show, the CD from the show, and her biography, Rosemary Clooney, Girl Singer. I believe that she is one of the most talented singers of this century and I only wish that I became familiar with her before she past away in 2002. I am now 16, and I thank Rosemary from the bottom of my heart for using her gift of singing and allowing me to listen to her daily.
