Rhythm on the Range (1936)

A cowboy who just wants to focus on the bull he just bought finds a runaway bride on his empoyer's boxcar that he can't escape from.

Doris Halliday (Frances Farmer) is an heiress who isn't in love with the man she's engaged to marry. Her aunt Penelope (Lucile Gleason) goes on a long diatribe about her mother and how strong western women are and Doris is mesmorized and decides to go west to her aunt's ranch. On her way, she meets Jeff Larabee (Bing Crosby) on her aunt's boxcar who only has eyes for his bull, but after some time grows found of this female stowaway as well.
