Dancing Lady (1933)
A playboy helps a dancer land a job, which he feels bonds him to the young woman and she only has eyes for her director which leads into quite a complicated love triangle.
Joan Crawford plays Janie Barlow and her potential suitors are director Patch Gallagher and Tod Newton--Clark Gable and Franchot Tone. Janie falls in love with Gallagher, but feels a certain loyalty to Newton. Production on the show stops when problems arise and everything is thrown up in the air and works itself out by the final number sung by Eddy.
