Now I'll Tell (1934)

A gambler draws too far on his luck. After losing everything he has, he decides to get insured for $100,000 and then makes arrangements for his own murder.

Rothstein is played by Spencer Tracy, his widow is played by Alice Faye.

Reviews

"...while [Now I'll Tell] is interesting in many respects, it throws no new light on the Rothstein sleighing..."

"Spencer Tracy can be depended on to breath life into any character that has any latent vigor in it and his portrait of the gambler is complete. He is surrounded by a competent cast...and is only failed by Alice Faye, who is Amateurish and unhappy as the woman in this case."

- Wood Soanes, Oakland Tribune, May 18, 1934
