Love Finds Andy Hardy (1938)
Andy Hardy's girl troubles become micro-managed by his neighbor's granddaughter.
The son of Judge Hardy (Mickey Rooney) finds that his gal won't be able to go to the Christmas dance, so he takes out another girl only to find his girlfriend home in time to go. The homestead falls into chaos not only because of Andy Hardy's girl trouble, but because his mother is away taking care of his grandmother. Betsy Booth (Judy Garland) keeps Hardy in line and sorts out all of his troubles--and becomes a self-proclaimed Cinderella in the process.

Lines to Remember
Andy: What kind of a car? How many cylinders?
Betsy: Two hundred.

Betsy: I'll never be able to get a man, much less hold him - no glamour, no glamour at all!

Betsy: You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna write an Andy Hardy page in my memory book and read it every day for five years. Cuz on account of you, I was grown up for one night - just like Cinderella - with an evening dress, and high heels and leading a grand march! You see, Andy, now I know how wonderful life's gonna be when I'm eighteen. And you did it all.
