Thousand's Cheer (1943)

A skilled trapeese artist at the top of his game becomes a private in the army during the war and finds he's a little too big for his britches.

Eddie Marsh (Gene Kelly) falls in love with the Colonel Jones' daughter (Kathryn Grayson) and finds trouble at every corner as he battles authority and his feels toward Kathryn Jones.
