Carmen Miranda was the Brazillian Bombsell of Fox films and really became an embassador for South America and the "Good Neighbor Policy." Carmen, with a nice thick Portugese accent (which was said to be over done in films so she would fit the part of a foriegner), stole the hearts of Americans away and took them to a land and a culture few of them knew of.
