Husband of "Reeljewel" Jeanette MacDonald, Raymond's career also was musical at times and had a fairly good voice that he kept hidden. Raymond's career did not catch on like Jeanette's did, but many of his films are considered classics. Especially the film he was in with the new pair Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, Flying Down To Rio and another favorite of mine where co-starred with Jeanette, Smilin' Through.
